Actionwear Saskatoon Inc. manufactures and supplies the Actionwest FR line of Flame Resistant clothing.  Actionwear manufactures an extensive selection of unlined garments,
insulated garments, Arctic apparel and accessories that are available from inventory throughout the year.

Actionwear Saskatoon Inc. was founded in 1974 by Al and Kathy Reaser.  The company began in a small warehouse building in downtown Saskatoon.  In 1982, the business moved to its current location and has grown to approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.  The Reaser family continues to manage the business today. 

With a staff of over 100, and unsurpassed levels of inventory, Actionwear is able to supply even the largest requirements.  It may sound corny but Actionwear truly is large enough to serve your needs and small enough to care. 

Actionwear is the largest and most experiencedprivately held Flame Resistant clothing manufacturer in Canada.  Actionwear supplies major corporations and select distributors throughout North America.  Actionwear is the main supplier of FR Arctic garments throughout Alaska and the Canadian Arctic with our Actionwest FR Arctic Survival product line.

Some garment suppliers choose to provide safety clothing that includes components made by little known or unknown suppliers.  It would be prudent to obtain performance test documentation for every component of the garment. This should include relevant standard certification for fabric, insulation, zippers, hook and loop closures, thread, and reflective trim, to guarantee compliance of each component.
 
The FR garments that Actionwear supplies include warning labels which list the performance standards that the garment meets.

Through our effort and diligence, Actionwear Saskatoon Inc. has earned a reputation as a supplier of quality products.  Actionwear has always chosen to use only market and industry proven fabrics such as DuPont™ Nomex®, DuPont™ Protera™, Fleece made of DuPont™ Nomex® IIIA fiber, and Stedair Coated DuPont™ Nomex® IIIA fiber , Indura® Ultra Soft® by Westex Inc, Tecasafe™ plus by Tencate™, and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material for our protective garments.  

Actionwear Saskatoon Inc. utilizes an in-house quality monitoring program.   We have material and product tracking procedures for our manufacturing process, order processing, and shipping procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and a high level of customer satisfaction.   One factor that makes our quality control unique is that the owners of the company are actively involved in all of the key areas of the company.
 
Every Actionwear employee has been trained in maintaining quality in the construction of each garment.  The cutters seek uniform coloring and weaving of the fabric as they lay the fabric out for cutting.  Each seamstress visually inspects the pieces as they assemble the garment, and there is a complete inspection of each garment before it moves into stock.   In the shipping department the garment is given its final inspection prior to shipping it to the customer.
