Vapro
Vapro(R) moisture barriers are made with FR breathable membranes laminated exclusively to an outer layer of DIFCO's advanced flame resistant woven fabrics, made from advanced fibres like Dupont Nomex(R) IIIA.

Vapro(R) breathable moisture barrier forms an essential part of today's advanced protective outwear systems. In cold and inclement weather, staying warm and dry optimizes your performance, which helps minimize the risk of hazardous mistakes. Vapro(R) breathable moisture barrier won't melt, drip or burn, even when exposed to heat and flame, increasing your level of protection agaist the hazards of electric arcs and flash fires. The flame resistance cannot be washed out or worn away. The result is a superior product that meets or exceeds industry standards.

DuPont Nomex(R) IIIA brand fibre is a blend of 93% Nomex(R), 5% Kevlar(R) aramid fibres and 2% P140 and is manufactured only by DuPont. Nomex(R), a synthetic FR fibre (aromatic-amide), is combined with Kevlar(R) for strength and P140 for anti-static qualities. It is inherently resistant to flames, dissipates static, and is resistant to many chemicals including organics, acids, and bases. The fire resistance does not wash out during laundering. Nomex(R) IIIA is widely used for clothing for the military, fire fighters, auto racers and industrial workers. Nomex(R) IIIA is suitable for most applications except welding.

3M Scotchlite Reflective Material
When Scotchlite(TM) Reflective Material is incorporated into safety vests and other protective garments, workers' visibility in low-light conditions and at night is enhanced.

When Scotchlite Reflective Material is combined with a bright background colour - such as fluorescent lime-yellow or fluorescent red-orange - the workers are also more visible during the day. And the more reflective material that you specify on our workers' garments to help outline a human form, the better.

Scotchlite Reflective Material products use a physical property known as retroreflection. It helps the eye perceive light in low-light conditions. In more scientific terms, retroreflection occurs when light rays are returned in the direction from which they came. A large amount of reflected light is returned directly to the original light source, such as a car's headlights. Since very little light is scattered when the light is returned, retroreflective materials appear brightest to an observer located near the original light source such as behind the wheel of a car. Your workers would not be seen in anything less.

WESTEX Westex home page (www.westexinc.com)
Valzon(R) (www.westexinc.com/valzon.htm)

Westex Inc. is an American international company with over a half century of experience producing flame resistant fabrics. Our strong commitment to innovative research and development has lead to breakthrough products such as INDURA(R), which has given the end user a choice to wear a cool, comfortable cotton garment while still retaining the necessary characteristic of flame resistance that is guaranteed for the life of the garment.

Indura Ultra Soft
Indura(R) Ultra Soft ( fabrics were introduced to compliment Westex's product line of FR fabrics. A blend of 88% Cotton / 12% High Tenacity Nylon, Ultra Soft is an abrasion and flame resistant product designed to extend garment wear life while providing the same cool comfort of cotton. The flame resistance is guaranteed for the life of the garment, and the material will not melt and drip when exposed to an ignition source. Ultra Soft, by its nature, is dramatically softer and more breathable. Because of the abrasion resistance, garment wear life is expected to be at least 50% greater than 100% Cotton fabrics, providing exceptional value.
